Linda’s Testimonials

Dear Linda,

Well we are home at last and settling into our normal routines again. Thank you for your wonderful 2 1/2 days of touring your beautiful city of Istanbul. We appreciate your extensive knowledge of the history of Turkey and your experience as our tour guide.

We took your advice and had a delicious lamb kabob dinner at Kosebasi Restaurant. We also visited the Pera Museum and enjoyed the exhibit on Botero. The highlight of our last afternoon in Istanbul was visiting the Jewish Museum.

We have been reading about the political situation between Turkey and Israel. How is this affecting you, your family and the Jewish community?

Our best regards to you and your family.

Dear Linda,

I hope you made it home safely. We wanted to thank you for a wonderful day yesterday. You made many things possible that we could never have done on our own, and introduced us to places we wouldn’t even have known about. You made it easy for us to get a feel for the city and accomplish alot in one day. Thanks especially for your flexibility with our schedule and plans! Please let us know if you are ever in Boston-

Shabbat Shalom, and many thanks again.

Dear Linda,

We wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our tour with you and learning about both the Jewish life, and life in general, in Istanbul. Our time with you was a wonderful way to start our trip.

We loved our stay in Istanbul and found the people very warm and the city very fascinating. We did not let the rain stop us and we visited most of the tourist sites in Sultanehmet, we ventured to the Asian side and enjoyed Bagdat Caddesi (reminded us a bit of Tel Aviv), and we went to Balat and found the Ahrida Synagogue (but only could see the gate) and then walked to the Chora Church. We spent our last day in Ortakoy – it was sunny and we had a great time sitting in one of the rooftop cafes.

We wish you the best… (have you decided on an Israel program for your son?)

Sincerely,

Risa, Roland and Lena Young

Many thanks for your guided tour of the Jewish sites last week and for the specific visit to the Ortakoy Cemetery.

I just wish to check whether you received payment from Intra for the first guided tour they arranged, since they asked me to pay direct to them. If you have not received payment from them please let me know and I will chase it up with my travel agents here.

As discussed, I shall recommend you to any friends visiting Istanbul and seeking a tour of the important and interesting Jewish sites.

Best wishes
Graham Morris
